Better news on the feline front. Frankenkitty's second round of bloodwork has returned with much improved results. The only liver value that continues to be elevated is the bilirubin, so she will be on one remaining medication for another two weeks. The vet suspects she is prone to triaditis, which is a combination inflammation of liver, pancrease, and bowel. If so, it is a condition with a genetic predisposition and one that is more managed than cured. It is possible that the feeding tube will be removed in a week and once she is eating more on her own, the vet will prescribe a new diet for her. Otherwise, she is returning to her normal routine of trying to sleep on the table, when she knows she's not supposed to.
